PlaylistGrab runs on Windows 10 and Windows 11. It does not run on macOS, Linux, phones or tablets.
02Can I try it before I pay?
Yes. Every new install starts with a 7-day Pro trial with all features unlocked. After the trial, the free plan keeps working with up to 5 downloads a day.
03What is the difference between 1-year and lifetime?
Both unlock the same Pro features. The 1-year license ($8.99) works for 12 months and renews manually. The lifetime license ($12.99) is a single payment with no renewal date — during our launch it is $9.99 until October 29, 2026.
04How do I get and activate my key?
Your license key arrives by email right after payment. Open PlaylistGrab, press the plan button at the top right, paste the key and press Activate key. See the activation guide with screenshots →
05How many PCs can I use?
Each license activates one Windows PC, and you can add a second PC at checkout for $4.99. An internet connection is needed the first time you activate; after that PlaylistGrab works offline and checks in from time to time.
06Which formats can I save?
MP3 for music and MP4 for video, with the quality you choose. Pro also converts audio files already on your PC to MP3 or WAV and lets you cut songs.
07What am I allowed to download?
Use PlaylistGrab only for content you own or have permission to download, and follow the terms of the service that hosts it.
08Which sites are supported?
YouTube works out of the box — single videos, playlists, channels, search and live streams. Many other sites, such as Vimeo, Facebook and Dailymotion, work through the optional extended engine that you can install in one click from Settings.
