Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the PlaylistGrab software and the playlistgrab.com website. By installing or using PlaylistGrab you agree to them.
1. License
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use PlaylistGrab on one Windows PC per license key (two PCs if you purchased the second-PC add-on). The free plan may be used without a key, within its stated limits.
2. Acceptable use
- Download only content that you own, that is in the public domain, or that you have permission from the rights holder to download.
- You must comply with the terms of service of each platform you download from and with the copyright law of your country.
- You may not use PlaylistGrab to infringe intellectual property rights, to redistribute downloaded content commercially, or to resell, rent, or share your license key.
- You may not reverse engineer the software except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
3. Purchases and payment
Orders are processed by FastSpring, our authorized merchant of record. FastSpring is the seller of the license to you: it collects payment, applicable taxes (such as VAT), and issues your receipt. The purchase transaction itself is additionally governed by FastSpring's terms of sale shown at checkout.
4. Third-party components and trademarks
PlaylistGrab bundles or uses open-source components (FFmpeg, YoutubeExplode, and others) under their respective licenses; the full license texts ship with the software in LICENSES.txt. YouTube is a trademark of Google LLC; PlaylistGrab is not affiliated with, sponsored, or endorsed by Google LLC or any other platform whose content may be accessed with the software.
5. Warranty disclaimer and limitation of liability
PlaylistGrab is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Platform changes may temporarily affect download functionality. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the license.
